Travel Coiba (travelcoiba.com) is operated by Pacific Adventure Tours, Inc., based in El Bongo, Montijo, Veraguas, Panama (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Booking request form: your name, email, WhatsApp number, preferred date, tour, group size and anything you tell us about your plans (food, gear, children’s ages).
- Messages: what you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Booking details: dates, group size and special requests.
- Passport or ID data: only what MiAmbiente requires to issue the Coiba National Park permit.
- Technical data: our hosting, security and spam protection services (such as Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile) process basic data like your IP address and browser to keep the site safe.
How We Use It
- To answer your request and send you a quote.
- To organize your tour, including park permits.
- To talk with you before, during and after your trip, mostly on WhatsApp.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
The Booking Request Form
When you send the form, your details are stored in our website and emailed to [email protected]. The form may also open WhatsApp with your message ready, so you can send it to us yourself. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy. We use these details only to reply to you and plan your tour.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- With MiAmbiente, to get your park entrance permit.
- With the service providers that run our website, email and messaging, under their own privacy policies.
- When Panamanian law requires it, or to protect the safety of guests and crew.

Your Rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have these rights under the GDPR. Write to [email protected].
How Long We Keep It
We keep booking and permit records as long as Panamanian rules require, and contact details while they are useful to talk with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
Children
This website is not aimed at children. Information about minors is only collected as part of a parent’s or guardian’s booking.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
